1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to historical narratives, source descriptions, scores, calculations, clock displays, confidence labels, risk assessments, and methodology statements published on the site.
2. Types of change
Minor correction
Spelling, formatting, broken links, or wording changes that do not alter meaning. These may be corrected without changing an assessment version.
Factual correction
A source, date, quotation, event description, or factual assertion was materially wrong. The page should identify the corrected fact and correction date.
Assessment revision
New evidence or better reasoning changes a dimension score, confidence judgment, risk label, narrative conclusion, or clock time. The assessment receives a new version and preserves the prior result.
Methodology revision
Weights, anchors, definitions, conversion rules, or review requirements change. Results produced under different versions must not be presented as directly comparable without recalculation and disclosure.
Review process
- Log the concern and preserve the original publication.
- Verify the cited evidence and search for contrary material.
- Determine whether the issue is factual, interpretive, computational, or methodological.
- Correct promptly or publish why no change was made.
- For material revisions, record the date, reason, affected dimensions, old result, and new result.
3. What will not happen
Historical scores will not be silently rewritten. Standards will not change to favor a political outcome, good-faith disagreement will not be erased, and a result will not change merely because it is unpopular. A correction record should be understandable without access to private editorial correspondence.
Current change log
The present release establishes the public revision standard. A structured, page-level change log should be added with the first material post-launch correction or assessment revision.
4. Request a correction
Use “Question this score” on the relevant historical review. Include the URL, measure you disagree with, proposed score, reasoning, and evidence others can verify. If you cannot use the form, contact Arklyte.io. An anonymous claim may be reviewed, but a correction cannot be made without supporting evidence.
