Financial transparency

Funding and Sponsorship Policy

Funding may support this work. It may never buy a score, hide a finding, or hide who is paying.

Effective September 14, 2026Publisher: ARKLYTE, LLC

1. Current funding status

The American Republic Clock is developed and published as an Arklyte.io Labs project of ARKLYTE, LLC. At the effective date above, the site does not display paid advertising or identify any paid sponsor. This page will be updated before any sponsorship or advertising relationship begins.

2. Funding that may be accepted

Revenue may eventually come from memberships, subscriptions, licenses, educational products, events, grants, underwriting, sponsorships, or advertising. Every source of support must follow the public editorial standards.

  • Important sponsors and institutional funders will be named publicly.
  • Sponsored work will be clearly labeled.
  • Funders may not select, preview, approve, delay, or block scores or conclusions.
  • Editors—not sales partners—control evidence, methods, language, and corrections.
  • Sponsorship will not be accepted from a political party, candidate committee, campaign, or organization that creates a conflict that cannot be managed.
  • If advertising is added, it will look separate from editorial content and will not appear inside the clock, score cards, evidence records, methodology, or correction log.

Funding that will be rejected

Funding will be rejected if it demands favorable treatment, hidden influence, access to private review, punishment for lawful criticism, or the removal of relevant evidence. If a conflict can be managed, the relationship and protection should be explained. If it cannot be managed, the support should be declined.

3. Commercial and public-interest structure

ARKLYTE, LLC is a commercial publisher; payments to it should not be represented as tax-deductible charitable donations. If a separate nonprofit or commission is formed, its legal identity, governance, funding, and relationship to Arklyte must be disclosed rather than implied.

Annual transparency

Once external funding begins, an annual summary should list major revenue categories, named sponsors or funders, in-kind support, and any relevant decisions by editors to step away from a review. Individual customer information should not be disclosed unless required or agreed.

4. Sponsorship inquiries

Prospective sponsors and readers with funding concerns may contact ARKLYTE, LLC through Arklyte.io. Acceptance of an inquiry does not guarantee acceptance of funding.
